22. The East Coast is best known for it’s sunrises, but that doesn’t mean Sydney doesn’t get it’s fair share of beautiful sunsets
My favourite sunset spots in Sydney;
- Mrs Macquarie’s Chair; This is where this video was taken and it is a gorgeous place to watch the sun set if you’re in the city and not looking to travel too far. It is a Sydney landmark and the chair itself was carved out of a sandstone rock ledge in 1810 by convicts
- Milk Beach; Sunsets from this beach have featured heavily on my Instagram since landing in Australia. You get a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the opera house and harbour bridge. It is a little harder to get to but it’s a cute little beach and perfect for an evening swim
- North Bondi Hill; Bondi is known for its iconic sunrises but the Hill in North Bondi is a lovely space to chill in the evening with some takeaway food or drinks. The sun sets behind the buildings and lights up the sky over the ocean. Sunday evenings hit different on the hill with people playing music and dancing, creating a chill vibe from around 5pm onwards

• .🤍The bed is NOT near the window :) we moved the mattress to make these beautiful shots, and kept it there for 2 days.
We did move it back before checking out, so that housekeeping staff does not have to do that for us.
• .We absolutely loved waking up to this view
